Built into a hillside, this magnificent old house in the Val d’Ambra overlooks the most incredibly extensive panorama of luxuriant woods and olive-groves on the edge of the Chianti area. Two separate houses have been recently restored, both of which can rented by clients, separately or together.
The main house (240 m2 – sleeps 8) has a large living room with fireplace, satellite TV and HiFi system, a spacious kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, American-style fridge and electric oven. There are two double rooms, two twin rooms. There are also 3 bathrooms with shower and 2 separate WC’s.
Outside in the large garden, clients will find a splendid pergola with a build-in barbecue and a terrace fully equipped with garden furniture.
The other house, known as ‘La Cascina’, (80 m2 - sleeps 2) is about 100 m from the main house, surrounded by pines and cypresses. It comprises a fully equipped kitchen which opens onto a pergola, a living room, a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower and a terrace with garden furniture. BBQ and private car parking at the guests disposal.
The beautiful swimming pool (7x15 mts – 1,40/1,60 mts deep), set on a terrace with spectacular views, is available for both houses when let together. Clients in ‘La Cascina’ would use the owners pool (4x12 mts – 1,50m deep) about 150m away when the main house is occupied, leaving the pool exclusively for those clients. |

Caccianello not only offers the peace and tranquillity of a relaxing holiday in the country, but is a wonderful base for excursions to the main towns of Tuscany such as Florence, Siena (35km),Arezzo, which is only 20 km away,as well as the enchanting smaller hill towns like Civitella and Pergine Valdarno.
