The villa dates back to the 17th century and it is surrounded by 17 acres of private land which include a marvellous park, landscaped graden and a private pool.  Eco wedding  seeker will love  the century old oak trees and the oliveground which surround Villa Volterra as well as the Finnish sauna and the relaxation area.

Wedding reception

Villa Volterra can host large to medium side wedding from 20 to 80 guests both indoor or outdoor. The magnificent and well kept garden can be a marvellous setting for ceremony and reception. While for indoor parties there is a fascinating and elegant 17th century hall to host up to 80.

Wedding accommodation

Villa Volterra has 15 spacious bedrooms and can accommodate from 30 to a maximum of 40 guests. All have ensuite bathroom. The villa has also a game room ( with several board game, table tennis  etc..) , a sauna and a gym. There is also a “cinema room” with a dvd projector and WiFi connection.

For larger parties, there is accommodation at walking distance.

Civil and Religious Wedding Ceremony

You can choose to have your Italian wedding at Town Hall in Volterra or a religious ceremony at the Catholic Church of San Gimignano. If you wish to have a blessing, this can be held on site in the villa garden surrounded by centuries old oaks.

Locantion

Villa Volterra is only 5 minutes away by the gorgeous medieval town of Volterra. San Gimignano is 15 minutes away and Certaldo about 25 minutes.
