The Villa Medicea started in the 11th centrury as a watchtower. In the years it changed into a Renaissance country home under noble families before Grand Duke Ferdinando II de’ Medici bought it in 1646 using it as a solida residence. Nowadays it operates as an organic wine estate and a luxury retieat where you can arrange your romantic wedding.
WEDDING RECEPTION
The historical villa with it’s amazing gardens and terraces: keep the lush garden a magical surprise, unveiling it on your wedding day. Ceremony can be heald at the bottom of the garden by the mountain or on the panormaic terrace.
Drinks can be held in the shady villa court yard or on one side of the garden. Dancing can be outisde or in the lovely indoor hall (also used as a plan B).
Party until 1am or 2 am
The second accommodation building has an enchanting garden and this can be your ideal setting for intimate welcome gatherings or farewell brunches, comfortably hosting up to 100 guests.
WEDDING ACCOMMODATION
We can accommodate up to 32 guests in suites and villas, with the option to add 12 additional guests on 6 sofa beds. The accommodation is split across two buildings, located 400 meters apart. A shuttle service is available to transport guests between the two areas during given hours.
Accommodation in the main building sleeps up to 10 guests across 5 suites, with an additional 2 guests on a sofa bed. This villa features its own private swimming pool and outdoor courtyard.
In the other building we have 5 villas that can host up to 22 guests, with space for 10 additional guests using 5 sofa beds. The property includes a swimming pool and garden, which is perfect for hosting additional events like pizza parties, rehearsal dinners, brunches, and more.
Your stay there includes breakfast and daily room service. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi in all rooms. Shuttle service within the estate between the two main buildings during designated times throughout the day
CEREMONY
You can have a symbolic and legal (conducted by the town hall of Bagno a Ripoli, Italy).
